Meet your Planner:
Hello! My name is Monique, but you can call me Mo, and I am your Professional Knot Tier! I have always been in the service industry. It is no secret I enjoy planning. Give me any event in life no matter how big, small or simple, and I’ll give it a name, plan it, and bring dessert. I believe every moment in life is an opportunity for a celebration. I am so thankful and so fortunate to have a platform as a Wedding Professional. To plan one of the most important and special days in a couple’s life from beginning to end is a task I don't take lightly. It was while planning my own wedding in 2013, that I decided to stop fighting the inevitable and embrace the wedding planner heart bursting inside of me. And that is when Mo to Love Weddings & Events was born. I interned my first wedding in 2014 and the rest is history. Who doesn’t love a great party! I have polished my wedding coordinating skills over the years and I continue to work hard to understand and meet my clients individual needs. I have been so fortunate to play a part in some pretty amazing weddings to this day, and I look forward to the opportunity of being a part of yours.
Things I love:
The Mr., dogs, sunsets, peanut butter m&m’s, champagne, celebrations, traveling, pizza, solo dance parties in my car, beautiful florals, twinkly lights, twirly dresses, shiny engagement rings, couples in love, being kind, and my main- Jesus Christ.
Meet the Team:
“I love travelling and exploring new places.I claim I was supposed to be Thai because I absolutely love Thai food. I like meeting new people and sharing ideas like cooking, crafts, and travel. My favorite part of a wedding is the father daughter dance. I picture myself being in the bride's shoes one day. It’s such a tender moment, it melts my heart.”
“I love makeup. I love coffee. And I love weddings. My favorite part of a wedding is the setup- seeing the couple's vision come to life. And the vows!”
“I'm a hopeless romantic. I love to laugh and make others feel good about themselves. One of my favorite things to do is cook with my husband. One of our New Year’s resolutions is to cook one new meal every month. That way we learn a new recipe each month together. My favorite part of a wedding is the first dance”
